Our ongoing and eight-week classes meet on Sundays at 9am and 10:30am. We hope they assist you to connect with God and others and that they provide an onramp into small groups. Click HERE for more info.
Simply put, small groups are a place to practice what is preached. Members of a small group are loved, pursued, challenged, and transformed into a gospel-centered family that desires to live life together in Christ. Click HERE for Next Steps.
Opportunities are available to invest in the lives of others. We have multiple ministry opportunities and more are added as needs arise. Click HERE for Next Steps or HERE for learn more about our SOS [Servants On Standby] Team.
Everyone needs someone to turn to for direction and spiritual encouragement - a mentor. We serve as a resource for those who are already engaged and to connect those who wish to mentor. Email to sign up for mentoring!
It is our desire to meet needs in our community and throughout the world. Annual mission trips in the US and around the globe are planned through our Mobilization ministry. For more info click HERE.

Missions "up-close-and-personal"! That's always the purpose of Women on Mission. A special speaker will share about "Laundry Love Georgetown" (the recipient of our coins for missions this quarter). We'll also fill sixty brown bag lunches for the homeless (distributed that afternoon through Helping Hands of Georgetown). Our morning will include Bible study, helping to learn that even though we are not perfect, we can hold on to hope in an imperfect world. We'll sign cards and pray for FBG members in special need of prayer as well as Texas Baptist Missionaries celebrating their birthdays. We always pray for missionaries whose names are on the Prayer Calendar. Join us for this morning of missions.

Our dinner will be catered by Johnny's Steaks & Bar-Be-Que of Salado. Individuals and couples are welcome! Special music will be provided by vocalist Michaela Watson. The Singing Women of Central Texas exists for the purpose of glorifying the gospel of Jesus Christ. It provides an opportunity for Christian growth, inspiration, fellowship, mission and service and encourages musical excellence in the local church. Since its inception, SWOCT has joined together bi-annually with all the Singing Women of Texas chapters to perform in churches across Texas. Two women from FBG are current members of the group. No registration is needed. To inquire or to help with the meal check with Cindy Keefe.
Brenda O’Bannion is returning and will be sharing her new book, The Land Between Us. Set during the Great Depression in West Virginia, this book is a heartwarming story when life was a struggle and courage, faith and forgiveness were necessary for survival. Men and women are invited to hear this delightful book review and to pray for missionaries celebrating their birthdays. Bring your “coins for missions” to donate to this quarter’s ministry, “Laundry Love.” The desserts are always yummy and fellowship delightful. For more info, contact Marsha Saucier.

The definition of generation is “People born and living about the same time, considered as a group.” Multiple generations attend FBG and it’s our desire to be an intergenerational church, where all the generations get to know each other and worship and serve together. Our Generations Ministry offers opportunities for 55+ and encourages intergenerational ministry and cooperation throughout our church body. We encourage you to use this season of life to wholeheartedly invest in your relationship with Jesus Christ, develop meaningful friendships, and to serve the church body.
