OUR HEART

We strive to strengthen each kid, student, and adult spiritually, relationally, and technically so that we can serve our church family and represent Christ in our community. God’s word is central to our corporate gatherings. We want to teach and remind ourselves of who God is and what He’s done when we gather together and incorporate the use of Scripture, testimony, preaching, prayer, video, baptism, communion, and songs of the classic and contemporary arena to help us accomplish this. FBG's musical style is created through the talent God has placed in our church congregation.

Key scriptures that drive what we do as a ministry team - Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Deuteronomy 8, Ephesians 5:18-21, Colossians 3:16-17, and Hebrews 10:19-25.

STUDENT WORSHIP TEAM

We welcome all students grades 6th-12th to be a part of this student worship team. We practice Sunday afternoons from 4:45-6:00 in the Student Center. This team of students is responsible for leading the Midweek service Wednesday night's beginning at 7:00. Click here to learn more.

SINGERS

Sunday Singers
Those excited about singing in a group can serve here. We practice Wednesday evenings after our Midweek Prayer Gathering in the worship center (7:30-8:30 p.m.) and lead both services Sunday morning. In this group, you will learn how to warm-up and strengthen your voice, learn the music by ear or by note, and use your skill to lead our church family in worship through song. Your visual and audible expression of worship will encourage our church family to worship! This group will lead 2-3 times each month in both services.

On-Mic Singers
Those who enjoy and are comfortable singing on a microphone should consider this opportunity. This group will join the Wednesday night practice mentioned above and lead both services for two consecutive Sundays approximately every 5-6 weeks. These singers carry the torch for singing and worship leadership. They engage with all ages of singers and form relationships within the group. They are teachable and understand what it means to work together as a team. They hone their craft on their own and regularly train their voice; discovering areas that need strengthening and setting attainable goals.

Assisted Living Singers (Joyful Praise)
This group is composed of singers who will take the gospel message set to music into assisted living locations. They value gathering together to practice the classic songs of our faith along with gospel songs. They practice Sunday afternoons from 4:30-6:00 in the music room. Technical Singers
Those who eat, sleep, and breathe music need to consider this option. We drill down into anything from sacred piece to a contemporary piece. Join us for (5) practices Sunday afternoon from 3:00-4:15 across from our livestream studio.

Generations Singers
Kids, students, and adults are encouraged to be a part of this group and lead our church family through our Advent (Christmas) and Easter seasons. We spend time learning new and classic songs for these primary Christian holidays. Practices are the first three Sundays in November for Advent and two Sundays before Easter each year. We meet 3:30-4:45 in the music room.

The Band

The band is composed of instrumentalists who believe in FBG's mission and vision. We practice Wednesday evenings after our Midweek Prayer Gathering in the worship center (7:30-8:30 p.m.) and lead both services Sunday morning.

TECH

God has a message for His people and our community! Help us communicate it through the use of technology. Students and adults are invited to serve behind these scenes with video, audio, lyrics, and lights for our in-person services and livestream. The primary expectation is that each team member brings a teachable spirit to the table. We utilize a variety of technology and will provide the necessary training to operate them.
