merry christmas with love

Join us as we exhibit the love of Christ through generosity to our community. At Merry Christmas with Love (MCwL) we seek to minister to children and families from schools that we partner with regularly. Be a part of encouraging the hearts of parents and children.

This year we are excited to partner with families from:

  • Cooper Elementary School
  • Mitchell Elementary School
  • Purl Elementary School
  • Wolf Ranch Elementary School

We will be providing them the opportunity to come pick out and wrap toys at our toy store here at FBG. We will also provide a new pair of shoes for every guest child.

There are several ways for you to get involved. We need many volunteers to facilitate the multiple aspects of MCWL this year so please check out the opportunities to get involved by clicking on the buttons below.

Provide Toys:

Our goal is to collect toys for every child. This will require 1200-1800 toys. Please provide new, unopened, and unwrapped toys. Ideally, gifts will be in the $15-$30 range. Toys should be for children between ages 5 and 14.

Toy collection begins on November 13th. Return toys to the large collection boxes located next to the angel ornament trees or the one in the front office. Gifts need to be turned in by December 4th.

Serve with Us:*

On December 10th, from 10am-6pm we will have many opportunities to serve directly with our guest families. We will need help in our "Toy Store" and our "Shoe Store." Additionally, we will provide a winter carnival experience for children while their parents shop. We'll need help there as well. Finally, if you're available to help on the logistical side of things, we'll need help with our set up and clean up.

UPDATE: We have met our giving goal for 2022 and are fully funded for the event. Thank you so much for your generosity. If you'd like to contribute to missions, our Lottie Moon Christmas offering is currently taking place.

SERVE: Registration begins 11/9/22    GIVE: Donate for Shoes/Toys

* - For parents who wish to serve with their children, please sign up in a role that you think will work best for you and your children. You do not need to sign up your child in one of the spots. If you have any questions about where we would recommend, please just let us know. We want this to be a great experience for you and your family as we all serve together as a church family. - Michael Sawyer,
