Christmas Cookies for the Community | Packing Day

Each December our First Baptist family blesses the faculty and staff members of eight of our local elementary schools by giving them homemade cookies. The cookies are distributed to schools in which we have ongoing ministries. Cookies are also delivered to city and county first responders, Georgetown churches, city and county offices, ministry offices, and many other locations. This is our way of showing that First Baptist is a church that loves the community and a church where the community is welcome. This year we will serve about 800 people in our schools and at least that many in our community. This means that we will need over 12,000 homemade cookies! Please be a part of the ministry by making cookies to be left in the church kitchen December 3-5. Join the fun for the cookie packaging day on Wednesday, December 6 in the church gym from 9:00 - 11:00! Sign up online at www.fbg.church, in Sunday morning classes, and in the church foyer on Sunday mornings in November.
