Veterans Day Celebration

6:30pm | Worship Center at FBG

We’re having a Veterans Celebration on Tuesday, November 11. Chord of Grace (chordsofgrace.com) is a family bluegrass band from San Antonio, Texas.  They have performed at Silver Dollar City in Branson and at churches and other community events.  They will mix their music with some patriotic songs. We’ll be recognizing Veterans who are present as Jeannie Hougnon presents the Armed Forces Medley with her keyboard artistry. Our keynote speaker will be Dave Carey, (davecarey.com) a motivating speaker, who uses lessons learned from his POW experience in Hanoi, Vietnam to remind us and encourage us that no matter what happens in our lives, we always have the choice of HOW we live our lives.

GENERATIONS

The definition of generation is “People born and living about the same time, considered as a group.”  Multiple generations attend FBG and it’s our desire to be an intergenerational church, where all the generations get to know each other and worship and serve together. Our Generations Ministry offers opportunities for 55+ and encourages intergenerational ministry and cooperation throughout our church body. We encourage you to use this season of life to wholeheartedly invest in your relationship with Jesus Christ, develop meaningful friendships, and to serve the church body.
