Bryan Waggoner
Generations Pastor
I grew up and lived near Indianapolis, Indiana most of my life. In December 2018, after 39 years of pastoral ministry in the Midwest, my wife Sheri and I started a new chapter when we moved to Georgetown to serve as the Generations Pastor here at FBG. We absolutely love the church staff, our church family and the beautiful Texas Hill Country!
I’m father to four adult kids, three who are married, and “PopPop” to eight amazing grandkids.
I still cheer for the Colts (sorry Cowboys fans); but am remaining neutral in the midst of my loud and proud UT, A&M and Baylor colleagues. I get revved up watching auto racing of all kinds, since I grew up in the motor sports capital of the world, hearing the roar of engines at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and O’Reilly Raceway Park.
As a child, I learned ventriloquism and gospel magic and still utilize those skills to connect and teach Bible truths to all ages. I’ve been a loyal Mac user since the late ‘80s, and really enjoy technology, computer graphics and video editing.
I’m a follower of Jesus Christ and desire to order my life in light of whose I am and who I am in Him. I’m grateful to be a servant of Christ and a steward of my time, talent, treasure and the gospel. My aim is to please God and bring glory to Him in all I do. The greatest way I can do that is to love God wholeheartedly, love people unconditionally and help others do the same.
I pray regularly that God will use me to do something significant for His glory. I thoroughly enjoy engaging with God in prayer individually and with other believers! I’d love to get to know you and learn how I can pray with you and for you!
