Lead Pastor / Directional Team

I serve as the Lead Pastor of FBG and am excited about leading FBG to be a church that is ready for the return of Jesus Christ.

I love studying, preaching and teaching God’s Word and I count it an extreme honor to proclaim the truths of the Bible for our church family. I love helping others discover who God is so that they might follow Him through faith in Jesus Christ.

My family is also one of my great treasures in life. Lynlee and I have been married since 1992 and we have a son, Weston and his wife Haiden, a daughter Maelyn and her husband Micah, and a son Caden and his wife Kylie. We also have four grandchildren that have blessed us so very much.

Lynlee and I both graduated from Texas A&M, she with a degree in education and me with a degree in business management. I also graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with my Masters of Divinity with Biblical Languages and my Doctorate in Ministry in Expository Preaching. 

Lynlee and I would love to meet you if you visit our church family. We usually hang out after the worship services each week near the front just to talk to people about who they are or what the Lord is doing in their lives.
