Throughout the year we have a variety of events and classes, each with a specific purpose. You'll see events designed to grow relationships, to serve others, and to help students take their next step of faith.

A few guidelines for our events: if you ever have a question if this is "for you," just ask. If finances are ever an issue, let us know. If you are a parent and ever want to help out, don't hesitate to offer.

Six Flags Fiesta Texas
June 30, 2026

Join us for an awesome day at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. We'll spend the day together making some awesome memories as we ride rides, eat turkey legs, and stand in lines. We'll check-in at 8:00 AM at FBG and leave at 8:30AM. We'll get back to the church around 8:30PM.

Summer Camp | Glorieta, NM
June 10-14, 2026

Students who have completed 6th-12th as of the 25/26 school year grade are invited to join us at Dwell Camp. At camp, we'll be challenged in our walks with Christ, join with so many others in worship, have a blast together with all sorts of games and activities. The list goes on and on.

High School River Float | New Braunfels, Tx
July 6, 2026

Join us for an awesome day on the river! We’ll spend the day floating together, hanging out, and making some great memories before grabbing lunch on the way back. We’ll depart at 8:00 AM for the River. After our float, we’ll change into dry clothes and head to a fast food spot for lunch before returning to FBG around 4:00 PM. Be sure to bring a dry change of clothes, secure shoes you won’t lose in the river, a hat for sun protection, and money for lunch. We’ll provide sunscreen, water, and soda.

Middle School Super Secret Summer Shenanigans
July 7, 2026

These super secret shenanigans will require a readiness to have fun, a willingness to jump in, and maybe a little bit of chaos—so come prepared for whatever comes your way. Dress accordingly and make sure you wear closed-toed shoes. Spots are limited, so once you sign up, your spot will be secured. We’d tell you exactly what we’re doing…but where’s the fun in that?

LaunchBox Mission Trip
July 13-17, 2026

We will be headed to the DFW area to partner with iGoGlobal Launchbox as they work to accomplish their mission to engage, equip, and empower unreached people in the community with the gospel.

Leadership Retreat | Broken Bow, OK
July 27-30, 2026

Students who have completed our 9-month-long mentoring program are invited to attend leadership retreat in Broken Bow, OK. During this event we will have multiple guest speakers that lead us in a "leadership intensive" in which we focus on developing a personal philosophy of leadership that prioritizes the way in which we serve the Church.

Sign up will be sent to participants who have successfully completed the program, at the conclusion of the last learning lunch.

Middle School Mafia | FBG Student Center
August 2, 2026

Middle School Mafia Night is going down, and it’s going to be a night full of strategy, suspicion, and a whole lot of fun. You’ll need to bring your best poker face, sharp instincts, and a willingness to outsmart your friends as you try to figure out who you can trust… and who you definitely can’t. Come ready to play, hang out, and fully jump into the game—we’ll take care of the rest. Spots are limited, so make sure you sign up to secure yours.
