FBG | Generations

The definition of generation is “People born and living about the same time, considered as a group.”  Multiple generations attend FBG and it’s our desire to be an intergenerational church, where all the generations get to know each other and worship and serve together. Our Generations Ministry offers opportunities for 55+ and encourages intergenerational ministry and cooperation throughout our church body. We encourage you to use this season of life to wholeheartedly invest in your relationship with Jesus Christ, develop meaningful friendships, and to serve the church body.

Sunday Adult Classes

These ongoing and eight-week classes meet on Sundays at 9am and 10:30am.  We hope they assist you to connect with God and others and that they provide an onramp into small groups.  Click HERE for more info.

Small Groups

Simply put, small groups are a place to practice what is preached. Members of a small group are loved, pursued, challenged, and transformed into a gospel-centered family that desires to live life together in Christ.  Click HERE for Next Steps.

Never Too Late

As parents, we desperately want our children to have deep faith and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We want our earthly family to be a part of the eternal family of God.  But what can we do if our adult child, siblings or friends leave the church and turns away from the faith?  We have a caring group to learn and discuss strategies and pray for our loved ones.  Click to get connected.

Date/Time: Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00pm
Room: E2.103/105
Group Leader: Pastor Bryan Waggoner, Generations Pastor

May 26 | Dessert and a Book | 10am | Parlor

Pastor Bryan Waggoner will review the book, Gun Lap, Staying in the Race with Purpose, by Robert Wolgemuth, husband of author and speaker Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth. You’ll also hear from other men who’ve studied the book with him and benefited from that.

Gun Lap will help you pay close attention to the life you have before you by:
1. Equipping you with biblical truth for days ahead.
2. Sharing encouraging stories of individuals in the race with you or ahead of you.
3. Challenging you to live the rest of your life with grace and strength.

This is a book you can give a man that he will be interested to read but it also has very practical advice for women as well. We may think we're too old to run fast, but we're not too old to run well.

Please join us on Tuesday, May 24 at 10am in the Parlor at FBG.
